Are you passionate about renewable energy and grid stability? Do you want to make a significant impact in the energy sector? We are seeking visionary co-founders to join us in revolutionizing the way we manage energy supply and demand through cutting-edge technologies like Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) and demand response platforms.


As a co-founder, you will play a pivotal role in developing forward impacting solutions that focus on:


- Demand Response Systems: Implementing platforms that incentivise consumers to adjust their energy usage during peak periods, ensuring a stable and resilient grid.
- Aggregated VPPs: Creating platforms that aggregate distributed energy resources (DERs) to function as a unified power plant, optimising energy distribution and reliability for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
- AI-Driven Load Balancing: Utilising artificial intelligence to forecast and balance grid demand in real-time, minimising the risk of outages and enhancing operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:


- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A strong desire to innovate and disrupt the energy sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in renewable energy, grid management, or related technologies.
- Technical Expertise:
Familiarity with VPPs, demand response, and AI applications in energy management is a plus.
- Collaborative Mindset:
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, driving projects from concept to execution.

About You:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, with a demonstrated passion for energy Innovation
  • Experience in operating within high-growth startups or scale-ups is advantageous.
  • Prior experience as a founder, co-founder, CEO/COO/CTO/CPO of a start-up companies is desirable and advantageous.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for Energy Innovation.
  • Experience in Green Energy, or related industries is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Knowledge and familiarity in specified area is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Practical Information:

As a co-founder at KRING, you will be an integral part of our venture-building team, accelerating our venture's growth trajectory. Upon successfully validating the Menopause project, you will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time Co-Founder role, with a competitive startup salary and equity package, driving the strategic direction of the new venture.

  • Timeline: Ongoing interviews. The start date is flexible based on finding the right candidate.
  • Location: We are open to working with talent worldwide, but founders must be willing to be in Copenhagen for at least a five-month validation and MVP building phase. Our office is located at Ragnagade 7, 2100 Copenhagen
